![]() Most of the work would be convertion not creation and should take allot less time.Īnd then release it end of june 2020, 20 years after D2’s original release, happy D2 fanbase. You up the graphics, remove stamina, make a shared stash (and a bit bigger one) and maybe do a tiny bit of rebalancing and further leave it alone its a good game don’t mess with it to much. Well remastering D2 could have been done in 1 year, 2 at most and they should’ve started before Blizzcon 2018 if there forges were running hot as promised, or just after the fiasco of Diablo Immoral to try and get on the good side of the fanbase. No more stamina bar, larger stash (not bigger inventory unless the part were charms fit remains the same) and a single stash for all characters, so no more muling games, possibly a reset button which resets the world (pref an NPC in town, but only usable when everyone is in town, which respawns all enemies, removes all townportals and basically would be like entering a new game), this will reduce the number of active games by allot I think and thus reduce server stress in addition to being a nice QoL. Would also appreciate some new areas that fall outside the campaign, like integrated D1 (as in D3 part of the year), maybe a new area that is like D1 going down level by level but increasing diff and running allot further to the point of becomming near impossible to continu, not with insane rewards, just to have an extra challenge.Ī place for cosmetic changes would be welcome aswell, but not very important to me.Īs for QoL. Some rebalancing wouldn’t be unwelcome either, however if I its not an issue for me if it stays the same, I’d prefer nothing happens above someone going tweaking without actually testing or researching and maybe leaving a game that is worse of. There are many more runewords in the game and I wouldn’t mind seeing some new stuff in the game. ![]() ![]() ![]() Just update the graphics and retain the grim dark tones.īut in addition put in some QoL changes and maybe some “new” item/runewords. Personally I hope they will rework it, but leave it mostly intact. I pick up D2 every once and a while again, still a great game imo. ![]()
